IPRoyal Recap: Our Journey Through 2023

As we bid farewell to another successful year, it’s time to reflect on the key moments that defined our proxy service in 2023. We added more server locations, completely revamped our dashboard, and sprinkled in some great new features at zero extra cost—all with our clients in mind.

Before we start listing our highlights for the past year, let’s take a moment to appreciate the continued trust and satisfaction of our loyal clients. Your support has been the driving force behind our achievements, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to grow with you.

We take great joy in seeing this dedication to excellence recognized. Our year ends with IPRoyal being recognized as a leader in our category by G2 in their 2024 Winter Awards. This outstanding achievement reflects our commitment and motivates us to keep pushing the boundaries.

Here’s a quick overview of the most significant moments that shaped our service over the past 12 months.

Rebranding

While many businesses might take a decade to rebrand, we’ve done it in just a few years of service to convey that we are more than just an affordable proxy provider. Our aim is to ensure our clients recognize the broader value we bring to the table – superior performance and full transparency.

In terms of functionality, our goal was simple. We wanted to improve the overall user experience and put all important information front and center so the dashboard would be even easier to use. Based on the feedback, it was a great decision!

Proxy Pool Growth

We’ve constantly added new locations and IPs for our Royal Residential proxies , as well as all other services throughout the year. This enabled us to guarantee easier access to geo-restricted content, enhanced performance, and improved connection speeds.

At the end of 2023, we are proud to say we’ve reached over 8 million IP addresses from over 195 countries worldwide.

Some of the new locations include Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxemburg, and New Zealand for our Static Residential proxies and Turkey, Estonia, Sweden, Latvia, Philippines, Malaysia, Hungary, Singapore, and Argentina for our Sneaker DC and Datacenter proxies . Finally, our Mobile proxies also offer two new options, Germany and Netherlands, with 500,000 IPs in each location.

Data Usage Reports & Statistics

Many clients were asking for accurate usage reports, so we’ve introduced a new feature to help you better understand and manage your bandwidth. Our dashboard now has the “Download report” button, so you can get your detailed usage report as a CSV file in a single click.

The report includes everything you need to know about your activities - how much residential proxy bandwidth you’ve used, when you’ve used it, and where. This information can help you optimize your parameters and tools to save your proxy bandwidth and troubleshoot potential issues more easily. You also have the option to select a specific period and showcase this data in MB or GB.

When it comes to other proxy plans, we offer order statistics where you can see how many orders are active and for how long, further simplifying proxy management.

Evolution in Order & Payment Processes

We’ve made not only one but several changes in the ordering and payment processes to make things easier for our clients, and affiliates.

• First, we’ve enabled automatic order confirmation, allowing our clients to start using their proxies as soon as they make an order without waiting for approval.
• Moreover, cryptocurrencies have become a full-fledged payment method, allowing our clients to pay for their orders without going through an additional deposit process.

Auto Top-up Feature & Easier Order Management

Our clients who use Royal Residential proxies got the ability to extend their orders automatically. This helps you ensure you never run out of available traffic. All you have to do is enable the “Auto top-up” feature and add the preferred amount of traffic limit.

Whenever your traffic falls under the set limit, we will automatically add your pre-set amount of traffic specified in the “Amount to add” field. Depending on your preference, the system will place an order for you and use your account balance or credit card for the charge.

It’s a great feature that will help you save time and money. But most importantly, you’ll still get all available discounts just as if the order was placed manually.

Datacenter and Static Residential proxy users can now filter their orders by IP address, order status (confirmed, in progress, unpaid, or expired), location, notes, and order IDs. This makes the order management process easier and more efficient, letting you track your invoices and locate specific items with just a few clicks.

High-End Pool Option

In 2023, we introduced a fantastic feature that lets you access the fastest and most stable IP addresses available in our Royal Residential network. To activate the High-end pool option , just tick the box next to it, and that’s it.

While this would limit the number of available IPs, as you won’t have access to the entire proxy network, it still offers an advantage for those who prefer speed over quantity. So, if you’re a web scraper, sneaker shopper, or marketer, it’s definitely worth considering it.

Mixed Subnets

Over the past year, we have focused on enhancing the security and anonymity offered by our Datacenter, Sneaker DC, and Static Residential proxies. We’ve achieved this by implementing mixed subnets – a feature that makes our proxies resistant to subnet-wide bans and blocks.

In other words, your IP addresses will no longer come from one subnet. If one gets detected and blocked, the rest will remain operational. This feature ensures a greater IP variety, making it extremely hard for websites and services to block you.

Identity Verification

Before April 2023, our clients were able to make an order without verifying their identity. However, we’ve decided to update our KYC (Know Your Customer) policy to ensure optimal security and safety of our products.

Now, we require identity verification for our Sneaker DC, Datacenter, and Static Residential proxies. But don’t worry; the process is quick and easy, so you won’t need more than a few minutes and your smartphone to complete it. Verifying your identity has several advantages for our clients, and it allows us to ensure the highest level of safety for our clients and our network.

Real-time Status Monitoring

Finally, we’ve introduced the Status page , providing insights and a smoother experience with our services. All our clients can now monitor the status of our website, dashboard, API, networks, and services. We provide the information in real time, along with a 90-day history.

To make things even more convenient, we’ve implemented a subscription option. The bell icon in the top right corner allows anyone to subscribe. This way, you can get the latest maintenance announcements and service news via email. Finally, you can keep the page open and turn on an alarm in the bottom left corner to get notified whenever a status change occurs.
